As part of the Locked On Network's greater theme this week of great moments from the 2019-20 season,

I am going to talk about today a stretch of time and not a single moment.

It's not going to be a play. It's not going to be a sequence. It's going to be a bit of the season

because that's how I tend to look at NBA seasons. If you've listened to this podcast for a long time,

then you have caught the fact that I typically tend to say that NBA teams will be about

three different teams throughout the course of a season. And the nuggets have been more than

that, I think, through the course of their 2019-20 season until the suspension.

But one very notable team was the team they existed between January 2nd, 2020, starting with a win over the Indiana Pacers, the Michael Porter Jr. game, and going all the way through the All-Star break, which played ended on January,

or February 12, 2020, 2020, 2016.

I want to talk about this time because this was the most fun.

This was the most fun that the Nuggets have been.

They had won consistently throughout the season.

That's why they were on pace to be a top three seed, probably top two, depending on what it happened.

But for much of the season, it was a slog.

They were a defensive team early on that got by by the skin of their teeth as Yokic was whatever.
