Hello and welcome to the show. This is a different sort of show today.

Today we're going to take you through with the assistance of the fine friends that

traveled with us to our journey abroad.

We are taking you to London.

For every single tour we have a private what's-up group.

So these people can meet before we even go

and they arrange themselves to these side quests. So there was groups that they formed to go to all these

different side quests. So I thought that was an interesting addition to this

particular tour. Yeah, that was the coolest thing is to watch all of these friend groups

percolating and coalescing before we ever even went. Right. I saw this happen in

the lobby of the Paris Hotel, but I'm sure it was also true for

London. Two ladies who had never met before but were obviously part of our

group one said I'm gonna run out and try to find this grocery store and the second one goes ooh I'll go too and then they gave each other this big hug and then hi I'm so and so

oh hi I'm so and so and then together not skipping not hand in hand but functionally that went off to the grocery store together having you know

Never met in real life you know they're in a strange city they've they've never seen each other before but they give each other a hug and

and they happily go on their merry way I think it be amused the desk clerk quite a bit but it was quite amazing

yeah so that kind of thing was happening everywhere you looked. Yeah, I really

think that's the main purpose of this trip actually is friends getting together, all that have the same sort of passions.

The very first day before the tour even started there was a very large group that had gotten together with another listener who is a blue badge guide in London.

That means that she's gone through training to be able to give these tours and she offered

the tour to our group. They organized themselves to go on a tour of the British Museum.
