Hey everyone. Welcome back to Rev Left. So I wanted to jump on here really quickly to

basically, you know, promote a fundraiser for a local child and here in Omaha with leukemia.

The mother has worked with my wife and his friends with producer Dave and his wife and their family.

She's a single mom and her nine-year-old son just got diagnosed with leukemia.

They made it GoFundMe, and they've gotten zero donations as far as I can tell right now in this link.

And so obviously you know how the health care system works.

You know how everything works.

And having been blessed with this platform really lucked in to this platform that I have,

I have a responsibility to use it to help others. And I oscillate between that responsibility

and being concerned that I ask too much of my audience. I don't ever want to find myself in a

position where I feel like, you know, I'm asking too much of people because times are hard. People,

you know, have so many things to donate to if they have the disposable income to donate at all.

But I offer this with an open-mindedness and an understanding that not everybody can always, you know,

help people out.

So if you can, that's amazing. Thank you so much. If you can't, totally understandable.

Life is hard for many people. And, you know, if you've contributed to the Gaza-Palestine stuff,

if you've contributed to the keeping people out of, you know, being evicted, losing their home and becoming homelessness stuff.

All the things that I've tried to promote on this thing before, you know, thank you so much.

I don't take that for granted and I never come to this microphone and ask you for help if I don't think it's truly needed and that this community can do some good.

And the thing I love most about this community is time and time again, when I ask for help for

other people, this community steps up and changes lives. I mean, genuinely has changed people's

lives. How many people I've had to reach out to me in tears,
