hello hidden gems i sat in court all day today all day during the first day opening statements of the Lori Vallow

Daybilt trial, Lori Daybill trial, she wants to be called. She's representing herself.

And it was, it was heavy. It was strange to see Lori representing herself. Some people refer to it a little

bit like cosplay, her being an attorney. Another couple I met, they are actually visiting Phoenix

from Australia and happened to stop by to watch some

Lori's trial.

They said that they felt she did a decent job.

Other people couldn't believe what she was attempting to say.

And I think any way you look at it, everyone was, this isn't the best adjective to use

mesmerize because that can mean something wonderful.

And that's not what I mean.

But everyone was curious and sort of just shocked and watching her today give her opening statements.

And her opening statements, in my opinion, as I mentioned during my lunch life, are actually really important because it's her time to testify.

I don't know if she's going to put herself on the witness stand to actually

testify. But what she does have are opening statements to set the stage and give her argument.

And it's exactly what we thought it would be a, quote, family tragedy.
