Hey deserving listeners, today I'm going to answer patron emails, but first I have a little announcement to make.

So if you didn't know, all of the episodes are being posted on YouTube as well.

Now if you're a normal YouTube person to this podcast and you know this but if you're not

I've been posting all the episodes on YouTube now that's not been a problem if you're listening on your phone app or on Patreon or something.

But I'm going to start releasing some episodes that are only on YouTube because they're

visual in nature.

The first series that I'm doing is on Love is Blind, which is a reality TV show that

was on Netflix and has been popular lately. And I have been doing reaction videos where I watch the reality TV show

and I comment on it and the reason why I wanted to do it for this was because Love is about people, if you didn't know,

is about people meeting each other without seeing each other.

And so they're put in these pods and they talk through this, you know, sound through wall.

And they date all these different people that way and they

finally get to see each other and then they see each other and then they see if their love

survives them seeing each other meeting their families seeing where they live and all that kind of stuff.

And I thought it was a good opportunity for me as a couples therapist to comment on how people come together, how people navigate conflict, differentiation,

maturity, all those kinds of things that you know that I like to talk about anyway and the show provides this

example upon which we can learn from.

Now of course it's a reality TV show and it's produced and it's edited and who knows what the motivation of these people

are.

But long story short, I think the people are least somewhat genuine, if not entirely genuine.

And so it gives us a good example of how people get triggered,

how people react, how people have good communication
