Granaldi both grew up in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Both Lucille and Frank were brought up in good homes.

Lucille was born on October 9, 1929.

She was the only daughter of a Waterbury police sergeant. She had one brother. Frank was

born on March 15, 1929. The two seemed to be destined to fall in love someday. They spent a lot of time together.

Frank even took Lucille to her first high school prom in 1947.

After high school Lucille did the damn thing.

She attended Albertus Magnus College in New Haven.

She was so smart, and that is what several stories said about her,
