make some application, present thought questions for the day, and offer a prayer together.

1:31.2

Three ideas from John's ministry set the tone for Jesus' teaching. Baptism, repentance, and the

1:38.6

1:46.6

Jesus baptism sets an example for us.

1:50.5

But we must also be willing to turn from sin,

1:54.8

so that by the planning and grace of God, our sins are forgiven.

1:58.9

This choice is crucial as Jesus would bring two baptisms, the Holy Spirit in association with salvation or fire bringing destruction.

2:05.2

The genealogy of Jesus is important because it proves him to be the fulfillment of prophecies by connecting him to both David and Abraham.

2:13.5

He is God's choice from the beginning to be our Savior.
