I know you've been doing a billion hours of press for your new book and so I am excited to talk to you

all about it. Just to give us a little background. Can you give us a little background? You move to

Chicago from Nigeria when you were a younger girl. When you were nine. And then you studied psychology

and marketing. Psychology. Yep. Yep. Okay. So then how do you go from studying psychology to

writing the books that you have out now? Yes. So I actually want to be a doctor growing up. So

when I started college my major was psychology pre-med. Okay. And I took chemistry 101 and ended

up getting the first and last deal of my academic career. Yeah, that'll do it. Yeah.

I put a stop to that dream real quick. And I dropped the pre-med piece but I kept psychology

because I still love it. But that same semester I actually started my blog in 2003. Wow.

Yeah, it was 18 years ago. And it was just about my undergrad life. So I have my whole undergrad

career documented. Wow. In this now-defronted blog doesn't exist on the internet anymore. But

once I deleted it, once I graduated, I deleted that blog and started awesomelylubby.com.
