I'm your host, Maddie Lee.

And this week we're actually having two guests on their co-authors of a book that I'm

just going to tease right now and we'll get to the actual title and the reason behind

it in just a minute.

But first, I've got to give you a little backstory for this all to make sense.

I know we talk about baseball here on this podcast, but I am also a brand new hockey fan.

And when I say brand new, I mean brand brand new.

As in I'm from Seattle, God excited about the Kraken and then realize if I'm a Kraken

fan, I should probably know.

You know, the basic rules of hockey, that sort of thing.

So I called on if you guys know Evan F. Moore, going with the full names here on this introduction,

he is a writer for the Sun Times.

He covers culture and entertainment for them, also real big into hockey.

And so he's been helping me with my basic hockey knowledge.

He sent me several YouTube clips on rules and such.

So whatever I, whatever knowledge I have for the inaugural season of the Kraken, all credit

goes to him to spend, he's been phenomenal.

He also, he's one of those people who, because I moved during a pandemic, we only know each

other through Twitter.

And he listened to the podcast, which is awesome.
