Aimely Louise Fletcher and this week we're going to be digging into the topic of mixed media.

I'm sure there are lots of us who play around with this and if you don't maybe it could be something that tempts you into it but first first of all, let's have a brief recap.

What have you been working on?

What's it included this week? Well, you know I have to just say and I even

made a note to remember to say this isn't autumn fantastic in the UK. I always

forget this. I always loved it in New York because it's too hot for me there in the summer, so when

autumn came I could emerge from my air conditioned inside and come outside again. But here, we always get and I forget this, we get,

and I forget this, we get cracks on that, it's depressing, it's raining, it's cold,

and then September comes, and we just get two months September and October usually of

glorious weather and beautiful light and incredible. It's just the best.

So I've really been trying to take some time to just be outside in trees, not up in trees, around trees, and looking at the sky and taking pictures of the sky and that leads me to what I've been working on because

the place where I am currently, if you haven't heard, I'm working on renovating a property for use as somewhere

for workshops and so on in the future and it's in Cumbria but it's in the

lesser-known part of Cumbria in the east which isn't as dramatic as the Lake District.

But it's a landscape I didn't really know until I got this place and that I now

love it's a magical place and I can't really describe why it's a very
