I want to talk about, actually, one of my favorite things,

magical thinking.

Let me jump to your screeny sharing. Okay, magical thinking 101, what and how and why. If you're listening to this, there are slides and I make the joke every time. There are slides that are delivered on an AI platform using AI art and that's what you're missing.

Although the art is getting better as the as as the tools improve,

maybe they don't improve, maybe it's the opposite.

As the tools continue to destroy analog reality,

these slides get slightly better, but you're not going to miss anything. If you're listening to this on the audio, which is actually where most people catch the show, you are always top of mind for me. But let me jump into why we're doing this episode this week.

Was facilitating several different client explorations of let's say the healing capacity of magical thinking from several different angles so it wasn't

a similar healing track it was more finding the medicine in human or humanity's magical thinking capacities that brought us here.

So, and the reason why it can become from several different angles, arguably infinite, is that your beginning relationship to magical thinking, which is to say prior to embarking on a process of working with it, is largely defined by childhood

trauma patterns, specifically ones surrounding scarcity complexes, and they come about due to unreliable access to affection or resources and it fundamentally boils down to the question that I want you to ask yourself at the beginning of this podcast but also at the end as we turn this into actionable moments in your life.
