Summary

Sikhandi, Amba, Bhisma

The war of Kurukshetra is imminent. The Kauravas and the Pandavas prepare to engage in the battlefield. The day before the war, the Kaurava generals meet to formulate their strategy. Bhisma, tells Duryodhan and his men, that although he is obliged to fight the war on behalf of the throne, he has some conditions of his own. And one of these conditions is that he'd never fight Sikhandi, the son of King Drupad. If Sikhandi ever attacked him, he'd put down his bow and accept whatever weapon SIkhandi hurls at him. Curious, Duryodhan asks why he'd impose such an odd condition. Bhishma then narrates the tale of Sikhandi and explains why he took such a vow. 1:25.0	He went to Bishma and said,

1:29.0	One cannot win a war without a commander-in-chief. We are lucky to have so many gallant and experienced
1:36.4	warriors on our side, but we need to stay united and follow one commander. I don't think there is anybody better than you to lead us in this war.
1:47.0	Grandfather, please accept my offer and be the commander in chief of the cover of army.
1:54.6	The kings and warriors will be honored to serve under your leadership.
2:00.1	Vishma said, why me?
2:03.2	Your friend, Karna always claims he can destroy the Pandavas in an instant.
2:09.2	You should make him the commander-in-chief. Karna wasn't pleased at Bishma's sarcasm.
2:16.0	He stood up and said, Duryodhan,
2:19.0	you know I promised not to touch my weapon as long as Bishma is alive. So leave me out of this war until
2:26.3	Bishma falls.
2:27.5	Duryodh nelt before Bishman said,
2:30.9	Grandfather, please don't turn me down. Only you can be the car of a commander.
2:36.7	I beg you, please lead us to victory.
2:39.7	Beshma just shared Duryodont to stand up.
