Hey guys, welcome back to According to. I'm Megan. I'm Sierra and we have a special guest today.

Hi, I'm Haley. I'm Megan and Sierra's older sister. This is our first time having a guest in the new setup.

So I mean, hopefully should go well. It's mostly like a technical thing on our end we just have

we have to get like the mic's set up and hopefully there's no weird noise or anything because I was testing

that before and there's a different cord I was had plugged in and then that microphone was just like

buzzing weirdly and I was like I don't think this is going to be good for the audio so then we had a

different one that I think is met for this microphone.

And there's no more of buzzing.

So I'm praying fingers crossed that the audio sounds okay.

So this episode has been at least a couple months in the making.

We talked to you guys about the idea we had to do an episode with Haley about, obviously,

Haley's a mom.

Or maybe not obviously if you guys don't with Haley about obviously, Haley's a mom, or maybe not obviously, if you guys

don't know Haley.

Haley is our older sister.

She has one son, another baby on the way, and we thought it would be fun to do an episode

about maintaining your identity as you become a mother, because I think it's very common

for people to, like, feel like they're only, like, a mom, and, like, they don't know who they are outside of that. So, so that's why he's here because she has some

insight that we have no insight into. Yeah, I have a sign. It'd be fun if you have, if you have any

listeners who are maybe also, like, moms or new parents. And, you know they she can offer something that we can't so that's what

this episode is for happy to fill in before we get into the bulk of the episode um we do like to start

with our weekly spotlights and book updates reading updates if we have any so my book update
