We are today kicking off a four-part series on how to make decisions as a couple.

And let me start.

Well, then I'll read it.

Not to brag, but I can read it.

Therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother, hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one.

One.

So the key is, in life as a general principle, always working toward one.

Unity, staying together, sticking together,

making decisions together, coming to agreement. That's always the goal, right?

Isn't that why you get married in the first place? Not everybody. Some people get married for the tax benefits. Okay. Or so they could sleep together without being brought up for church discipline.
