Today we're looking at what's been described as sports legal battle of the century,

the hearing of the dispute between Manchester City and their accuser, the English Premier League.

What we're talking about is the preeminent team of the past decade in the most popular sport,

in the most popular league in the world, and what they're accused of is corrupting that for about a decade.

If found guilty of breaching the Premier League's financial rules, allegations Manchester City strongly denies, the team

could face relegation, while the Premier League risks serious reputational damage.

I think one could say that they are now probably the greatest English club that's ever been.

I mean, no club has done, or city have now done, and I'm very sort of sad that this may be tarnished.

We'll get an expert's view of the legal process from a sports lawyer,

and we'll be outside the club's Etihad Stadium to hear from the fans.

There's always that doubt that everything's going to go for a shift.

No chance. I don't expect even the points to be deducted. No way.

If it's proven, we get punished.
