One of the real delights of working on this programme

is that sometimes you don't get very much notice about what's happening. I got an email on Monday night and we actually met the lady in question doing something really interesting, canoeing up the Great Glen and the canoe she made herself with her 10 year old daughter just the very next day. And the chances of actually being able to meet up across that distances were very, very low.

And while we're at it, which critters have got a sweet tooth?

Raspberry jam, peanut butter and loose peanuts.

Did they go for that? I mean, I've heard it for years raspberry jam, but did they really like it?

They absolutely love it. They get through buckets of this stuff.

That's the main cost of ruddyness is the amount of jam we have to use.
