We have travelled the length and breadth of Scotland over the many, many years we've been doing

this programme, but I think this is

one of the most memorable trips we've

ever made. Ewan and I

headed off to this location back in

2011. Yeah,

we were off to St Kilda, the most remote

part of the British Isles, 41 miles

west of Ben Becula, and pretty

such to say, of all the places we've been on Outer Doors, as you were saying, St Kilda stands

out as very much our favourite.

It has the sort of moniker of being islands at the edge of the world, and that actually

fits them remarkably well.

They are islands, plural, rather than just one.

There's Herta, Soe, Borre, and all the associated, really quite dramatic, remarkable sea stacks.
