0:11.0	And y'all, we're talking about a marriage myth today and it's a big one and
0:16.8	Dave is going to tell you what it is. Yes it is the myth that says marriage
0:22.1	will fix all my problems. M like that's all that's what it'll take. Yeah or if I just need to get me. Yeah if I if I married the right person that definitely would have fixed all my problems. So I must not have married the right person, I definitely would have fixed all my problems.
0:33.1	So I must not have married the right person because I still have problems.
0:36.3	But the truth is, you're going to have problems.
0:38.6	Everybody's going to have problems.
0:39.8	Jesus promised us we'd have problems.
0:41.9	He said, in this life, you'd have problems. He said in this life you will have troubles, but
0:45.7	take heart because I've overcome the world. So his promise isn't a problem-free life.
0:50.9	It's a life where you face your problems and he's with you every step
0:55.1	of the right and in marriage that's the same promise we give to each other I
0:58.6	can't promise you a problem free life but I promise you that it's for better and
1:02.2	for worse richer and for better and for worse,
1:03.0	richer and for poor, and in all of it, we're going to face it together.
1:06.9	And so marriage is not a great fix-all.
1:09.5	It's a great enhancer.
1:11.0	It's a great amplifier. It enhances all the good in your life because you're sharing it
1:16.0	with someone. But it can also amplify the struggles because you got problems with your
1:21.6	family, now you got problems with your family and their family.
1:24.4	You got you know this this problem and all of a sudden under the microscope of marriage
