And today, I am pleased to introduce to you the hit sitcom Married with Children.

In my opinion, an underrated classic.

And I apologize for my voice today.

I'm a little under the weather, but the show must go on.

That's how dedicated I am to educating you people on the history of comedy.

And this is no exception because, you know, if you think of the 90s,

you definitely think of Seinfeld and friends, obviously, as far as sitcoms go.

Roseanne definitely recognized Frazier won all the awards and everything.

I think married with children doesn't get the respect it deserves for kind of creating a

segment of sitcom that was ripped off a lot afterwards.

But they really were the first of their kind in a lot of ways.

And we're definitely influenced by sitcoms that came before it.
