A little background on Martin for those of you that don't know him.

Mr. Goodman is Emeritus Professor of Jewish Studies at the University of Oxford

and a fellow of the Oxford Center for Hebrew and Jewish Studies.

His numerous books include A History of Judaism, Roman Jerusalem, The Clash of Ancient Civilizations, and Josephus' The Jewish War, A Biography.
