Today I'll have the pleasure to catch up with past guest Marty Strong.

Marty is a true Renaissance man. He retired after 20 years of service as a decorated Navy SEAL Officer who has led 36 successful combat missions around the world.

After leaving the military, Marty spent seven years as an investment advisor with UBS before transitioning into management for a defence contractor.

He's raised five children to adulthood and today Marty writes politically.

He's published nine books of fiction where all the proceeds are donated to the SEAL Veteran Foundation to fight PTSD and now he's just finishing his third nonfiction book on business leadership called Be Different.

Marty, we were talking a little bit before we start recording. I'd love to start with your thoughts on there was that not not the I know there's a trial and everything.

But there was the person that recently passed away in the training for hell week.

And a lot of people are saying, you know, it's just too difficult, it's too, they're pushing people too far.

But I think from a societal level, it seems like life has got, you know, too easy for many people.
