missteps from mangling creator credits to mistreating top creators. It was time to drop the

curtains and turn out the lights. At first, I thought it was just going to be Deadpool, but it became clear that it had to be a clean break with Marvel altogether.

I have been making the comic books for 4D years, 40 years, 4-0.

I have had my footprint across five decades, got higher at 18 years old in the 1980s, worked in the 1980s, 85, 86, 87, got my career going right out of high school and never look back.

80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, 2020s, and here we are. I started this podcast about

five years back to talk about comics, my passion for comics, my love for comics. Comics have

been a constant in my life. Since I was a kid, I've talked often about the different spots

And I vividly remember comics that I took with me to that pizza hut.

Comics were bought from newsstands.

They weren't in great condition.

They were bent.

They were sometimes torn.

They were creased.

It didn't matter to us.
