1:08.9	plans for cutting down on government spending and kickstarting growth.
1:11.9	So how are they going to do it? In an op-ed in the Times on Tuesday, Kier-Sama wrote,
1:16.3	We'll cut the weeds of regulation and let growth bloom, which is very poetic. But what does it mean?
1:23.2	Reeves has announced subsequently that she plans to streamline environmental obligations,
1:27.5	calling the example of the HS2 Bat Tunnel that cost £100 million, an example of regulation going wrong.
1:34.0	They're going to limit legal challenges and the number of people who can veto projects,
1:37.9	and particularly infrastructure projects, and streamline consultation that would otherwise drown builders.
1:44.2	Elsewhere, she has announced investments in new transport links in the north of England.
1:48.9	They're talking about creating Europe's Silicon Valley in between Oxford and Cambridge.
1:53.2	It's aimed at driving new investments in science and technology.
1:56.8	They also want to go hard on building new homes, particularly around those travel hubs.
