Guys, we are in Matthew Chapter 13. We are right in the middle of parables. Jesus is getting the

parables going, and we got the parable of the sower, we got the parable of the wheat and the weeds,

and now we're going to get to the parable of the hidden treasure.

Indeed, we're continuing on with the kingdom parables as there sometimes categorized. It says in

verse 44 of Matthew 13, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found

and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells

all that he has and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of

fine pearls who on finding one pearl of great value went and sold all that he had and bought it.
