After living in the United States for 20 years undocumented,

Mauricio has now returned to Mexico City

to start a Mexican version of the TV reality show Pimp My Ride.

His plan is to come back to the US legally where he has a family waiting,

and he promised them he'd be home by Christmas.

to malice.

The Tamale guy, you know, it's a really popular thing over here in Mexico.

The street Maricio grew up on is like a parody of what you'd expect.

I used to miss this.

It's in a car neighborhood, lined with part stores and mechanics who specialize in different

repairs. Every business here is about cars,

bolts, cables, batteries, radiators.
