I mean, we don't get a lot of stories like yours. And so I'm excited to just hear all your background and hear kind of what led to you coming back to the church. But before you know we

0:48.0	Sure well and I'm excited to be on this podcast with you I just recently came across it by accident and I love that you have a whole

1:00.0	Yeah, it's pretty special. I think that a lot of times that come back story is just, it's really impactful to hear somebody share what life was like without the gospel and then what life was like
1:14.0	coming back so yeah well I was happy to find it and I thought oh I should probably talk to her. So yeah, yeah my story is unusual. It really is. I was you know the
1:29.3	child descendant of 18 Mormon pioneers who joined the church between 1847 and 1869 and journey to Utah.
1:39.6	So that's pretty unusual to have that many ancestors. I'm like a fifth or sixth
1:44.9	generation Mormon. So I kind of call myself 120% genetically Mormon.
1:51.0	Oh, of my great-great-grandparents and one of their parents and one of their kids all were Mormon pioneers.
1:59.0	And I'm also a fourth cousin of Joseph Smith through his mother through the Lucy Mack line.
2:04.0	I'm not a descendant. I'm a cousin. So Joseph and I share a grandfather.
2:09.0	That's so awesome. And then my great, great aunt, Mary, was the last living person to have known Joseph Smith. So that's kind of mine. Yeah. Mary Field Garner. Yeah, what's her name?
2:22.8	That is so cool. They wrote an article about her in the church news when, you know, before she died.
2:29.2	And then my great, greatfather Ephraim,

2:35.6	as kind of one of Brigham's right-hand men.
