Queen of Comedy and by the New York Times for its part to me this is as high a compliment

as there is among contemporary actresses she is the easiest to imagine in a 1930s

Hollywood comedy.

Since shooting to prominence 25 years ago when she embarked on a seven-season run as

one of the greatest cast members in the history of

NBC Saturday Night Live playing 72 characters over 137 episodes. She has
