Red meat has always been my favorite food.

Steak has always been my favorite food my entire life.

So it's interesting to me now in retrospect to look at that version of myself that accepted the cultural programming of red meat being demonized.

That I thought, oh no, if you just see red meat, you'll die and have a heart attack in a couple of weeks.

Whereas it was a failure to trust my own intuition or listen to my own body.

And there's something to be said for that, right?

Yeah.

The cultural programming angle is intended, I think, to dissociate you from your own gut instinct or primary preferences, something like that.

Exactly.

And it's very important that we get back to that, right?

Like you need to learn to listen to your body, listen to your intuition, make decisions from the gut, follow your heart, you know, all of these things.

They're very important

to leading a fulfilled life. Like our civilization is going to this place where there are hidden

risks everywhere. Yeah. You know, it's not just in one category. It's not academia that's having a

problem and food is not having a problem.

Right.

Or is that food and engineering or bridges or, you know, finances or the derivative market again.

Right.

You know, it's not one of these things that's having a problem.

It's everything. And so that means that the onus is on us if we're going to reform this system and not just like vote for anarchy.
