Welcome in the first draft. The final first draft is bittersweet to say I am Field Yates and the 2024 NFL draft is officially in the books.

We can't wait to do all the draft grades.

And by we, I actually mean this man right here.

The man who is the NFL draft, Mel Kuiper Jr.

41 years of the ESPN on the draft, 46 in total, Mel, what did you think of

a 2024 NFL draft?

I tell you, it's going to be a critical draft moving forward.

A lot of surprises, not as many trades, but some shocking picks.

Atlanta got it going at Michael Pennix Jr.

It was as scripted early, but some players that we thought would be drafted weren't,

but teams that are really setting themselves up well for a good run and some

that are set up well for even next year based on some of the deals they made and

some that really aren't to put it really all into this draft one of which being

in the NFC north so it's gonna be a lot of fun to review it, field.

We know now where the destinations are.

We're not to project it anymore and guess about it.

Now we know who went where, and we can kind of get an idea now

what we think these teams will look like moving forward into the

training camp and into the regular season.

All those debates for the past few months, Mel, between you and I are now gone as we can talk about

where these players are as opposed to where we think they should go.
