You just heard a cut there that really bothers me that I just heard from David Stern's new baseball,

President of Baseball Operations for the Mets in his first offseason.

The idea that the New York Mets and Steve Cohen, the richest owner in baseball, who's worth approximately $13 billion,

who's going to build up that site in flushing, build it up nice hotels, casinos,

a guy who money is no object in the biggest market in the world who has changed who they are from the Wilpons and previous ownership.

The idea that President of Baseball Operations would tell you that there is a quote-unquote,

a lot of different ways to describe success.

No, there isn't.

There is not.

There's one way to describe success.

You want to be, if the MF fans, if you guys think that you have now entered the realm of the Yankees, the Dodgers,

the Red Sox for a time, although they're doing things a little bit differently,

if you want to be one of the big boys, one of the big payroll guys,

one of the Richard teams in baseball, as you should be,

and as you've been acting, for the most part, over the last couple of years,

with giving out big-time contracts.

And I understand it hasn't brought you championships, nor has it brought championships to the New York

Yankees, and I threw them in the mix.

But they spend money, and they run their team a different way.

And if you want to be one of those teams that win every year,

you want to be one of those teams that are in the playoffs every year,

competing for a championship every year,
