Maybe it's my fault.

Maybe I led you to believe it was easy when it wasn't.

Maybe I made you think my highlights started at the free throw line and not in the gym.

Maybe I made you think that every shot I took was a game winner.

That my game was built on flash and not fire.

Maybe it's my fault that you didn't see that failure gave me strength, that my pain was my motivation.

Maybe I led you to believe that basketball was a guy giving gift and not something I worked for.

Every single day of my life.

Maybe I destroyed the game, or maybe you just make an excuse.

The excuses sound best to the person that's making them up.

And all your excuses are lies.

They are lies all of them.

Something y'all don't want it. That's why you ain't got it.

Because you grew up in a household with dysfunction, trauma, mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional abuse.

It doesn't mean that that's the outcome of what your life, your career is destined to be.

Think about the things that you tell yourself the lies you use to rationalize, take an easy road.

Take an easy road and leaving discipline behind. Think about them.

There's pretty much nothing that you could say that you went through, that I haven't went through, and I'm still here.

Some of y'all may connect success to me being famous.

There are people that are way more successful in me financially, success-wise, career-wise, and they're not famous at all.

You don't have time. That's a lie. You don't have support. That's a lie.

You don't have the equipment or the gear. Lies. You don't know the best way. Who cares? That's a lie.
