So and welcome Michael Shulman, hi, thank you for joining me, I want to put something

out there right off the bat, I want you to know the perspective that I'm coming from

for a lot of this stuff.

I mean a lot of your book is just this fascinating exhaustive but not exhausting history of

the whole scope of the Oscars and Oscars and therefore just sort of the Hollywood movie

business but obviously there are some takeaways that people might have about what it all
