I called this phone the other day just because I wanted to see if it was still on or whatever and somebody answered it.

And it honestly really freaked me out at first and I was kind of offended until she told me that she had just got this phone number and I was had to apologize to her but it was a strange experience.

I had to call her in a while. I used to do all the time and I used to like leave-boy smells and stuff just in case she wasn't alive unless it scared whatever.

But when the girl answered, I honestly was really shocked and I was like, why do you have this phone?

And she's like, well, I just got this phone number and I'm like, well, I don't really know what to say. I just don't like the leaves or honestly.

One of the hardest things is trying to get the answers but everything is so delayed and backed up that it's just hard to get any answers.

On February 9, 2020, 31-year-old Zach Fortenberry left the home he shared with roommates in Bonnie Lake Washington.

Several days later, his car was located in nearby Carbonado with the keys inside and half a tank of gas.

The car was parked near a bridge that spans the Russian carbon river underneath it but Zach was nowhere to be found.

With no clues or leads as to what had happened, Zach appeared to vanish into thin air that day and no one has seen or heard from him since.

Shady characters, odd clues and a deep history prior to his disappearance have left Zach's family members struggling to find answers.

When Zach Fortenberry disappeared in February 2020, he was living in Bonnie Lake Washington with roommates, who were the first to realize that something wasn't right.

Zach's sister Devon spoke to us and she told us how she found out that Zach was missing. Several days after he was last seen on February 9, 2020.

So I'm not working, I get a message from his roommate, Joey's, kid's mom. And she was asking me if I had heard from Zach and I was like, I mean, no, not really. I haven't really talked to him, like what's going on.

And she was like, well, he had lunch last night to go do something, like go do laundry or things like something like that. He was going to the laundry mat. He had never came home.

And she said that was weird. She said he sometimes leaves for like short periods of time, but he never really was gone that long.

So I kind of thought it was weird. So I was trying to call him and I was doing this and I asked my mom, I asked his dad, I asked his sister when the last time they talked to him.

But I've been cut a few days for everyone because like I said, this point it was the 11th and he had left on the 9th.
