Where the winds took him that day resembled many other places he'd been, broken and ravaged, confined by walls, a large hole in the ceiling, like a wood-toothed mouth, yawning in desperate craving for the elements. It was another building, slowly relearning its

place in nature. The crow descended, so abundant the numerous corners and crannies of this world, plenty of ripe food,

virtually no resistance. Having been but a mouth from the nest when the light change happened,
