Sandy Ryan came to Las Vegas to win her WBO World toweight title back from Michaela Meyer. They met in New York last September. It was close. Maya

won. The rematch was on. There was bad blood. Lots of it. The Fontainebleau Hotel, a new one, a

gorgeous one, on the strip, was the grand setting.

They fought to a bloody standstill in the end. At the bell, there was no embrace. They had respect, but it was not for public display.

Mayor got the verdict again. Ryan was hurt again. it was a good fight, the ninth was special.
