Welcome everyone to Was I in a cult? I'm Liz Aikuzi and on this show we give those who were in cult or cultic environments a chance to share their story and take their power back. Today Tyler is on vacation. A much deserved break, so today we're going to air an oldie but a goodie.

Ariana was our season one finale episode, and she was involved in a workplace cult. It's a very powerful

episode and when Ariana reached out she was so vulnerable and so earnest and her

story was so powerful and if you haven't heard it you're in for a

treat if you have then you can enjoy it once again I did reach out to Ariana

just to catch up and see if she had any updates for us and to I have

connections with him, him being her cult leader, as you will hear in the episode.

She continued, a few women he has matched with on dating apps who Googled him and found the

episode interesting and some ex-girlfriends and a few other scenarios that are

similar to mine. At this time she said that is all I can

really share about that part legally. She went on to share that she has gotten

really into therapy these past few years and has spent a lot of time processing her own

trauma and grief. Intentionally she's kept her life very private and she

says I know this all sounds relatively boring, but the truth is,

rebuilding your life after trauma is complicated and painful, and incredibly worthwhile.

Your voice is your magic and I have spent the last few years rediscovering mine. So thank you
