Let's turn over to the book of Galatians, chapter three.

Actually, let me just summarize Galatians real quickly. This is going to be a miracle because Galatians is a powerful book.

You know, the book of Romans is Paul teaching on the grace of God. And in my estimation it's like

a masterpiece. It's just, it's systematic, it's theological, it is just, if a person was to read and understand the book of Romans. I guarantee you it would bring you out of legalism and into grace.

There is no way that you could stay a legalist.

But it is nice and it's theological and stuff.

The book of Galatians is making the same point,

but Paul is brutal in Galatians.

These were people that he brought the gospel to them

and they received the gospel and then after he left

some other people came in and said,

oh yeah, you need the grace of God and you need his mercy, but you also have to live

holy and if you don't live holy, God won't bless you.

And Paul was so upset. he just said things in the book of Galatians that are brutal.

I mean it was like he was mad he was letting these people have it.

It's the exact same points that are being made in Romans, but in Galatians it's mean. It's just, and I kind of like it because you can't miss it. I mean, there is no way to miss his point like let me just use a couple of verses here in the first chapter

He didn't spend very much time saying hi

He just went straight for the juggler vein and he said this in verse six he
