this i have worked in um service industry, managing restaurants,

managing retail stores for most of my adult life. And those of you out there that have done that

know that that will cause you to hate people. And I don't mean just dislike people. I don't mean

just, you know, not really favor people. It will cause you to hate people.

Because the nicest, most wonderful Christian grannies you know in the world turn into demons when their food is wrong or when you won't give them a refund about something that they wore a hundred times.

And so my jaded view of humanity was really, really challenged
