In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy

for President of the United States.

Together we will be taking on the most corrupt forces and entrenched interests imaginable.

Our country is in a horrible state where in grave trouble, this is not a task for a politician

or a conventional candidate that is a task for a great movement.

That was Donald Trump Tuesday night announcing to no one's surprise he will once again run

for President.

By Trumpian standards, he seems subdued as he described America's descent into war, crime,

and economic catastrophe ever since he left the White House 22 long months ago and Joe

Biden took office.

And yet the timing seemed curious and to many Republicans infuriating.

The party had just suffered unexpected setbacks in the midterms, once again losing the Senate

and it seems just barely taking back the House as Trump endorsed candidates fell by the

wayside one by one.

And if that wasn't enough, GOP leaders were still determined to eke out a win in a Georgia

runoff and are desperate to have him stay out of the headlines.

How much of a threat to Republican stability and future success is Trump's candidacy?

We'll talk to Yahoo News correspondent Alex Nazarian, who is at Mar-a-Lago for the big announcement.
