Hello and welcome to Best Land Plans.

0:11.1

This is your host Sarah Hart Unger, and this is the podcast where we talk all things planning

0:15.2

and planning adjacent.

0:17.1

I know I entitled this episode, morning routines, and some exciting news, but I'm actually going to start with the exciting news to not kind of leave you hanging for the entire episode.

My news is that I do officially have a book coming out. It has a pub date of January 6, 2026, and it has been made official by the publisher so I can share some more details today.

The book is going to be called Best Laid Plans, a simple planning system for living a life that

0:43.7

you love, and it is a guide to my planning system at each time horizon in addition to lots

1:34.6

that I am just so excited. I felt like I was ready to turn this into book form. And now it is

1:40.0

happening. My publisher is source books, which has been great to work with. My editor's name is

1:46.1

Ariel. She actually has a podcast of her own called Hungry Authors. So if you want to check

1:52.8

that out, you can. I don't know if she knows that I know she has a podcast, but I do. So it's

1:58.9

fun to listen to if you are interested in writing yourself. And yeah,

2:04.9

just super, super exciting to be able to share more about this project going forward. Now,

2:10.2

is it done? It is not done. It is mostly done. There is a manuscript. It is not entirely

2:15.9

finished editing. There's some work I need to do on some of the
