Summary
Mike and Kelsey return to talk about the best and worst movies they watched in October. Kelsey shares why she can’t stand Joaquin Phoenix and Mike reveals the nerdiest thing he bought recently. In the Movie Review, Mike talks about Here starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. The movie reunites the “Forrest Gump” co-stars with their director Robert Zemeckis, and follows different people living in a single house over the course of 100 years. Mike talks about why he feels it lacked emotion, the weird de-aging technology and how the novelty of the one shot wore off pretty quick. In the Trailer Park, Mike talks about the upcoming horror movie “Presence,” starring Lucy Liu. It turns the ‘haunted house’ genre upside down by telling the story from the perspective of the evil entity instead of the humans.
