My name is Michael.

Hey, everybody.

I like that really.

I call myself a real alcoholic because I am, when I first heard that, that was in 2007,

I was introduced to the AA by the Los Angeles County Court System, and was sent up to Warm

Springs, which is in Lake Castell for 180 days.

And when I first read that, I was like, man, that fits my description, and I've tried

all that.

And all that everyone to do was drink and use like my brother, like my neighbor across

the street, like my buddy around the corner, because whenever they drink and use, they

didn't have the same consequences that I did.

So once I got out of Warm Springs in Los Angeles, went down that mountain 14 miles and just

started living my life, you know, and working, drinking, just doing the things that I had

normally been doing, you know.

And I never really gave thought that prior to that, the reason why I left the Bay Area
