and this is Black Girl Gone, I tell the story of Angela Budsow, a 44-year-old

woman who was

living with her Monclare, New Jersey home on October 22nd, 2018.

Angela was living with her boyfriend and their six-year-old daughter at the time,

but after years of turmoil in the relationship,

she had made the decision to leave him.

But before she could, Angela's life was brutally taken when she was shot to death in her own home.

What followed was a chilling twist.

Her killer, confessed, detailing his crime in a letter to his brother, triggering an international

manhunt to bring him to justice.

When he was finally caught and convicted, Angela's loved ones believed justice had been

served, but in a tragic and unexpected turn. The man who took Angela's life and never served time for her

murder.
