Thank you so much for being here. I just want to notify the people of some of your

background, some of the books that you've written, all

have been a fantastic before we start.

So you're currently, let me just check my notes here, a resident scholar at the American Enterprise

Institute.

You have a very successful video blog called The Factual Feminist. I've

checked a few of those videos. They're absolutely fantastic. I recommend for everybody

to go check them out. And you've written many books books some of the most notable ones being

who stole feminism how women have betrayed how women have betrayed women the

war against boys how misguided feminism is harming our young men,

one nation under therapy, how the helping culture is eroding self-reliance,

and a more recent one, freedom feminism, it's surprising history and why it matters today.

Today, of course, we are celebrating International Women's Day, so it is particularly befitting that you and I should be talking

about feminism, right? Absolutely. Happy International Women's Day. So I guess the first thing I wanted to ask you sort of to contextualize, you know,

you're part of your life's work is you know there are all sorts of bad ideas out there and

one of the things that I pride myself in doing is that I try to tackle as many of these bad ideas as possible, whether it be radical feminism or postmodernism or stupidity in science, why did you focus your considerable intellect and efforts on

tackling this issue?
