And over here I'm Tyler Meissom. Now on this show, was I in a cult? We give people who are in cults or cultic environments a chance to share their story and take their power back.

And we do this with what we hope to be a little bit of levity.

Because well, cults can be funny and if you've been listening for a while, you now know that

cults can exist just about anywhere.

Yeah, many times we get asked what makes a cult? I mean what's the difference

between a workout class and a pole dancing cult? And there are many things that make a cult

a cult but one of the big deciding factors is, of course, the leader, the often

charismatic, malignant narcissistic person at the helm of this group.

This person we've come to find often has childhood trauma and likely has additional mental illnesses to

boot.

Now we aren't psychologists, but this is just a week's surmise from covering cults for as long as we have.

We've also approached the topic of cult in a way that we hope

humanizes the experience. Now a lot of cult content out there is very

sensationalized and gives off the feeling of look at those crazy monkeys in the zoo.
