duvet with Jack. I'm very excited to be here. It's a real honour and privilege and hoping to impart some

few words of wisdom and some experience to share. Bruce, happy Valentine's. Yes, thank you. Happy Valentine's Day.

It is, isn't it? And it's getting warmer.

The buds are, you know, sprouting and, but yeah, there's still some cold to come, I think, this winter.

There you go. There you go. So we always start here because I think it's really important and for young people listening

in today, some of them will be in their bedrooms, some of them will have jobs, some will

not have jobs.

What was your first job?

What did that job teach you?

And what lesson did you learn from that job that you want to

pass on to this lot on Valentine's Day?

Yeah.

So actually my first experience that technically wasn't a job but it was earning money.

I was importing goods from the States.

I grew up in America, I am British and I was bringing back to Newcastle

for my trips to the States, fat laces, so this is in the early 80s when breakdancing, hip-hop's

starting to grow, and I was bringing over American track suit tops and selling them. I didn't know

that was later to be called a parallel or gray market, so I don't think I was, and I hope the VAT man doesn't catch up to me on the back of this. And that made me realize I had a passion

for trends and what was happening around me, which was fundamentally an interest in people,
