0:18.0	So I wanted to ask you a question. I've listened to you for a long time and I really appreciate and follow a lot of your advice.
0:31.0	My mother-in-law is in her 80s and I have a 10-year-old daughter and my mother-in-law has
0:38.8	always been and will probably never change that she's very focused on appearance and looks and
0:46.0	she makes a lot of comments about that and my 10-year-old daughter is starting to express that she's uncomfortable with some of the comments
0:56.0	she hears from her grandmother when we get together in family events.
1:00.9	Things like, oh, look at this long-legged spider, or like, oh, you finally
1:07.3	look like a girl today, things that are making her feel uncomfortable.
1:11.8	And this past weekend, we were together for an event.
1:16.5	And my husband actually told his mom, like,
1:20.4	he was trying to do it in a nice way of, like,
1:23.2	mom, actually, some of those things you say to our daughter
1:27.2	make her uncomfortable and her response was,
1:29.8	well, she's just gonna have to deal with it.
1:32.4	And I don't know where to go from here
1:36.4	of do we just let it go or do we make it a point
1:40.7	to say she doesn't have to deal with it. She feels uncomfortable when you have every
1:46.2	couple of things I'd like to add. First of all, how dare you even make letting it happen and not doing anything about it an option. How dare you?
