Welcome back to the Gen Z Girl podcast. My name is Abby Asselen and I am the host of this podcast.

Briefly, I just want to apologize if this audio is not as good as it typically is. I am just now moving

into my apartment for my grad school year at the University of Alabama and I have my computer

and my desk and everything set up because one of my like top priorities

was to get that set up first but my microphone is not working like it's lighting up and everything

and it's plugged into the computer but the computer isn't picking it up and the cord got kind of

messed up when I moved a few times ago and it was still working after that but now it's not so I think it's just done for it but

I have a spare microphone like an extra one at home so I think my mom's going to send it to me

um this week but I should have just brought it with me but anyways I apologize I am recording on

my phone so hopefully the sound is not too bad and you don't hear any or too much of any external noise

so today's episode is really exciting.

I always get so many requests to share what books I'm reading, what books I like, and a lot of

people always DM me asking about it or giving me book recommendations. So I figured now is a

perfect time to do my summer reading list and everything. I read this summer with like thorough reviews on everything and I read so much this

summer.

I have always loved reading but I don't prioritize it in my normal lifestyle when I'm really

busy.

But with quarantine and staying home and everything like that, I read so much this summer and I loved it and I

want to keep up with that habit. But I think you guys will really enjoy this and be sure to like
