The So today is going to be a bit different.

So usually when I have a podcast episode, it's either something I've scripted or an interview, which I've prepared for.

But I just thought I'd do something different and basically just kind of just talk.

And I think the recent event that happened with the attempted assassination of President Trump being such a stunning event.

With that happening, it's time for something just a little bit different.

I mean, I didn't have much time to prepare something, but I felt like as a podcast on

presidential history, I had to say something.

So, yes, so this is going to be very different from what we usually do. And I'm just going to share some thoughts about the whole situation. I'm not going

to get into all the details of what happened.

I mean, I think everyone's being bombarded right now with the news and getting text messages about what's happening.

People can go online, find out what happened.

But I found out about it.

So right now it's Sunday in the evening at 9.30.

It's been over 24 hours.

And I found out about the assassination attempt yesterday when I was just, I can't even

remember all the details, but I was just scrolling through social media.

I think I was just basically just relaxing.

And suddenly, I think it was either social media or one of my friends texted me that there was a security incident that had happened at a Trump

rally. And those things, alarming as they are, they're not unheard of. I actually remember not

that long ago something similar happening where Trump reacted to something going on in the
