Well, hello there, and thank you for tuning into another episode of In A Minute with Evan Love

It, coming to you live from the I am studios in the Heart of LA. And today we are

talking about something that I don't talk about enough.

And it's probably the topic that if you polled people throughout the world

is most synonymous with LA.

The movies.

And this is an episode I've been meaning to make for a long time because early early early in my LA in a minute career, if you will, I did a little movie episode, but it was one minute and can't get into much depth about the entire history about LA movies.

So we're going to dive into LA movies, but specifically the list of movies that to me define

Los Angeles at least my version of Los Angeles and I know this is going to be a

quote-unquote controversial episode because there are about

10,000 movies set in LA, probably more. That's probably a conservative number.

And limiting it to five is nearly impossible.

But it was fun.

So I'm gonna need your feedback.

This is my list, but you tell me what movies I left out,

which ones you couldn't believe were in this top five,

and just overall your favorite

LA movies and there's also some pretty damn good history here not just about

these movies but the history of movies in LA so stay tuned for that. The one number I could not find and my

wife was like, how many movies were shot in LA? I challenge anybody to find that. I did

my hardcore research. It's thousands and we're talking

shorts full length. What about movies that were never distributed? I couldn't

...
